Day 289: NYC 1

And with this post, day 1 of my New York Trip is complete. Things have been stress free and phenomenal so far because I planned it so well through my travel agent. I had an amazing flight even though I met the meanest flight attendant ever. Luckily the flight was short and she only yelled at us once (for no reason though). You always have the what if about luggage but sure enough it arrived safely and on time. I've been able to save a lot of money so far, so when the shuttle I arranged brought us to the magnificent hotel, we splurged and got room service partially just to say we did. Then, after a much needed nap, we did some exploring and window shopping to prep for our souvenir buying on Friday. We ended our evening with dinner (great New York pizza at an upscale pizzeria) followed by more window shopping for souvenirs. Tomorrow is freedom tour day involving Statue of Liberty, Ellis island, and much more. Here are the photos from today and stay tuned for the next episode: NYC 2.
