Day 288: The Prep

Tonight, as I type this, I am fifteen minutes away from the airport because in six hours we will go to Dulles and fly to NYC. I'm going there for a whole week with my mom for spring break. I'm calling it my 21st broadway birthday bash. If you haven't noticed I'm a fan of alliteration. I hope to keep up with the blog during the trip but in case I don't, you can be sure that I will talk about it in one big blog post. If you're curious as to what we are going to see and do it's probably easier to wonder what we won't do. We will be the ultimate tourists. We will discover some of my favorite things and like in the sound of music we prepped with that famous curtain pose in our hotel. Then, tomorrow, just like the film, a montage will begin, but instead of Salzburg it'll be NYC. Get ready New York because here we come.
