I learned several lessons this summer. Here's a list:
1. College students have the craziest sleep patterns.
2. Dr. Albert is the Godfather of SU.
3. Not everybody you meet will like you. Some people may even hate you.
4. Man of La Mancha is an incredible show.
5. Flying is much more complicated than two wires holding a person.
6. Erasing a score, setting up and tearing down a keyboard, and working with temperamental technology are the down sides of being a pit keyboardist.
7. Never let the bad memories outweigh the good ones.
8. You never know everything. There is always something you can learn.
9. Be kind to people even if they aren't kind to you.
10. Make friends by being friendly but not overbearing.
11. Spamalot is the third funniest show in history.
12. Enjoying your job makes the fact that you get paid only a perk. Find a job you can be passionate about. With this one, I confirmed that I found mine.
13. There's no place like home.
14. There is a direct correlation between the movement of the conductors stick and the tempo. -Dr. Albert
15. Watch the conductor instead of following the singer.
16. It's not always good to anticipate.
17. Summer stock is a blast.
18. Life can be tough and stressful, but things get better.
19. Don't feed yourself or let people feed you with negative thoughts.
20. Know when to continue, know when to stop, and know when to let it go.
Therefore, I think it's time to stop the list. Goodnight.
