The catch-up continues. Over the past several weeks I worked at the community theater in Martinsburg as the rehearsal pianist and pit keyboardist for their production of two from galilee. It's basically a church cantata that's long enough to be a full length dramatic musical. Because of it's church content and it's church cantata sounding music (composed by one of the popular church choral composers), it brought back so many awesome memories of being a church pianist. Of course it wasn't perfect, the cast was limited, and money was low, I believe we pulled out a decent show. It really celebrated the true meaning of Christmas and moved audiences every night. Maybe one day there will be a musical version of the sequel three from galilee. Maybe that will be performed next year.
